Funding The New Church Plant
Typically the Church Planter will need to be bi-vocational in order to provide for the needs of his/her family, during the early years of the new church plant. Funding is available to assist with start up costs for new church plants from the sources listed below.
1) Contributions from individuals, churches and organizations associated with the new chruch planter and Church Planter.
2) Kentucky Church Planting helps with approved expenses related to: * Church Planters' Boot Camp * Equipment & materials * Utility deposits * Short term lease agreements * Media promotions 3) National departments of the General Council of the Assemblies of God also assist with the purchase of materials and equipment for approved new church plants. Funding from the national Assemblies of God offices require that the new church plant be set in order as an Assemblies of God church that is affiliated with the Kentucky District Council of the Assembleis of God, and that the name "Assembly of God" be included in the official name of the church, i.e., "Cornerstone Assembly of God.".
